Where tech meets beauty – a first-to-market product launch demands content to match.

MZ Skin, the luxury medical skincare brand, briefed us to create a teaser animation for the launch of their new LED eye patch device. The product represented a genuine first: a category-defining piece of beauty technology combining clinically backed LED therapy with wearable design.

Our role

Our task was to create a CGI teaser animation that captured the product’s innovation and positioned it correctly within MZ Skin’s premium brand world. The result was a suite of photorealistic stills and motion content that brought every detail of the device to life – the precision of the LED grid, the contoured form of the patches, the quality of materials.

Why CGI for a beauty launch?

For a product like this – small, highly detailed, with complex surface qualities traditional photography presents real challenges. The reflective surfaces of LED components, the translucency of the patch material and the small scale of the product all make studio photography difficult to control. CGI gave us total precision over lighting, angles and material rendering, producing imagery that simply wouldn’t have been achievable on set.

The teaser animation introduced the product ahead of launch, building anticipation with visual content that matched the product’s positioning: cutting-edge, luxurious and genuinely unlike anything else in the category.
